Even More Haunted & Twisted History Walking Tour!
August 22 @ 5:30 pm - 7:15 pm
If you have been on our original Haunted & Twisted History Tour, you will love our second ghost tour route with ALL new material!
Join us for a spooky stroll through North Carolina’s capital city. On this informative and engaging tour in Raleigh, you will hear stories about ghosts, hauntings, and other strange activity. This tour is not your typical “ghost tour” with special effects. Instead, it is a history tour that discusses real hauntings resulting from past events and other twisted, unbelievable historical happenings. Please note that there is a significant historical component to this tour!
The tour begins in front of the Tucker House, 418 N. Person St. The tour route runs slightly north of the downtown, mainly through the Oakwood neighborhood and along North Person St. There are stops at several city landmarks, where your guide will discuss the history and legacy of the landmark and then regale you with an eerie story. Other haunted and twisted stories will be presented as the group ventures along the route. This tour is a perfect combination of haunts and history!
If you haven’t been on our original ghost tour, you can check it out here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/haunted-twisted-history-walking-tour-tickets-50696048245
PLEASE NOTE: This tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 45 minutes, but may be slightly longer or shorter, depending on the size and speed of the group. There will not be any restroom breaks or stops for food/drinks. Please use your discretion when deciding whether to bring children on the tour. The stories told on this tour are not as graphic as some of the stories on our original Haunted & Twisted History Tour.
This tour will NOT start and end at the same place. We will start in front of the Tucker House at 418 N. Person St. Please do NOT attempt to enter the Tucker House at any time. The tour route is approximately 1.5 miles long. The tour will finish near The Station at Person St., which is approximately 2.5 blocks from the starting point. Please plan your parking accordingly! There is plenty of free street parking near the start point, including parking on North St., Oakwood Ave., Person St., and Polk St. In addition, we will not be entering the inside of any buildings on this tour.
This tour is pay-what-you-want — if you enjoy the tour, please compensate your guide appropriately! Usually, the guide receives $15 to $20 per adult, but you are free to give more or less than that, depending on how you feel about your tour. As you can imagine, the tour guide has to work hard to earn your appreciation!
