2020 NC Wine Cheese & Chocolate Festival

Join us for the 5th Annual NC Wine, Cheese & Chocolate Festival! This exciting event grows larger and gets better every year!! Taste local and regional chocolates and cheeses that will make your palate scream with delight! A variety of wines will be showcased from different regions of Italy, Spain, France and the US. We’ll also include some NC favorites to show some “Local Love.”
Enjoy TASTINGS of your choice, browse vendors and the beautiful SHOPS and restaurants of Lafayette Village. Visit the DEMONSTRATION TENT to learn from experts in these categories. Sit, SIP and LISTEN to live music from BANDS, DJ’s and other entertainment during this relaxing and unique festival.
EARLY BIRD tickets go on sale March 9th, 2020! Regular admission and VIP tickets are available through October 8th, 2020 or when they sell out! This event will sell out again! Don’t delay organizing a gathering with friends at this enjoyable festival. This event has sold out every year! Consider it an afternoon getaway to EUROPE without travel expenses!
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This event is for the entire family or just adults if that is your preference. A valid ID is necessary upon check in to pickup your tickets. You must be 21 years of age to drink any alcoholic beverages. Those under the age of 21 may still come, purchase tickets, participate and enjoy cheese and chocolate tastings. Children are not required to purchase a ticket, but will need need a ticket to participate in non-alcoholic samples.
What is the difference between a General Admission ticket and a VIP ticket?
General Admission tickets allow entry to the festival beginning at 12:30pm. GA tickets include 12 tasting tickets, a wristband, a map and a souvenir wine glass. VIP tickets include entry to the festival 30 minutes earlier than the general public, 15 sampling tickets, a wearable SWAG bag with giveaways, automatic raffle entry, a souvenir wine glass, additional samples of wine from the VIP tent and hors d’oeuvres served from 12pm-4pm.
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Coming with a group? Uber or Lyft are great options and all event parking is free! There will be underground parking available below Lafayette Village. Parking is also available in connecting lots. Parking/Traffic attendants will be available to assist with directions.
What can I bring into the event?
You may bring cameras, blankets, lawn chairs and strollers into the village. Outside alcoholic beverages are not allowed. Beverages of all kinds may be purchased from tasting stastions, vendors, or the Shops of Lafayette Village.

What’s the refund policy?
As with most festivals, there are no refunds allowed for this event. We will not be able to accommodate ANY requests for refunds. In the case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for October 17, 2020.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Printing your tickets in advance will be the easiest method for check in. You may also check in via your Eventbrite app by showing the pre-purchased tickets on your mobile device. You must show a state or government-issued ID to be served alcohol.
Are children allowed to attend this event?
When purchasing tickets for children they can be used for sampling non-alcoholic beverages.
